La Bergerie Lozzi is a restored shepherd’s house turned eco-lodge, perched at 1,000 meters above sea level in the heart of Corsica’s pristine Niolu valley. This peaceful mountain refuge offers an authentic escape where travelers can disconnect from modern noise and reconnect with nature’s rhythm.
Built entirely by hand using local larch wood and natural materials, the lodge accommodates up to 5 guests in a warm wooden retreat featuring two cozy bedrooms, a spacious living area with terrace, and fully equipped kitchen.
Surrounded by majestic peaks, crystal-clear rivers, and untouched wilderness, guests wake to mountain light, birdsong, and some of Europe’s clearest starry skies. This is more than accommodation, it’s an invitation to experience conscious mountain living with humility and respect.
La Bergerie began as a deeply personal journey when Éric and Myriam transformed a simple structure that once housed goats, rabbits, and a little donkey into a warm mountain refuge. Éric entirely rebuilt the bergerie with his own hands, staying true to its shepherd origins while embracing sustainable practices. Myriam, an agriculturalist deeply connected to the land, brought soul to the project.
Together, they envisioned more than a holiday home, a peaceful refuge where people can disconnect from noise and reconnect with what truly matters. Their vision was to create a space rooted in simplicity, authenticity, and harmony with the Corsican mountain landscape.” Read more about them.
