Samsú Cabins, nestled in Ireland’s pristine natural landscapes, offers a revolutionary digital detox experience for the perpetually connected. This eco-lodge provides off-grid sanctuaries designed to help guests disconnect from technology and reconnect with themselves.
The cabins feature analogue amenities including cassette players, polaroid cameras, and device lockboxes, creating spaces where minds can truly rest. Solar-powered and completely offline, each cabin encourages guests to embrace slower living through activities like fire cooking, book reading, and landscape exploration, delivering an authentic remedy for modern life’s overwhelming digital demands.
Samsú was born from founder Rosanna’s personal journey through burnout in 2023. As a self-confessed workaholic clocking fourteen hours of daily screen time, she discovered the transformative power of disconnecting in nature during a life-changing trip to Samsø island in Denmark.
Inspired by the locals’ harmonious relationship with the planet and the profound peace she experienced camping in a meadow, Rosanna quit her job and returned to Ireland with a mission. She created Samsú to provide beautifully designed off-grid cabins where the “always on” can switch off, offering analog experiences that encourage guests to rediscover contentment through simple pleasures in Irish nature.
