Their story

Wild Meadow Huts was founded by Anne and Conor, a husband-and-wife team who purchased their meadow over 25 years ago after establishing themselves in Doolin’s tourism industry. Starting with The Lazy Lobster restaurant in 1988, they later operated the successful Half Door B&B for 12 years.

During lockdown, recognizing the need for private couple accommodation, they developed Wild Meadow Huts to share their “little piece of heaven.” Their daughter Amy now handles marketing and reservations, bringing the family business full circle. The eco-lodge represents their commitment to sustainable tourism while preserving the wild flower meadow that has flourished into a biodiverse habitat. Read more about them.
