Their story

The history of Huka Lodge is an interesting one. It was founded in 1924 by Irishman Alan Pye and was originally a fisherman’s camp. Huka Lodge started as a gathering of white tents lining the Waikato River and is now one of the most beautiful luxury lodges in the world.
