Their story

Long Point Eco-Adventures was founded by Dave Pond and Mike McArthur, who were inspired by their deep connection to the Long Point Biosphere Reserve. They transformed a 37-acre former tobacco farm into a thriving eco-tourism destination overlooking the Turkey Point Marsh.

Guided by ecological research and local wildlife experts, their mission has always been to protect this remarkable ecosystem while creating opportunities for guests to experience it in meaningful, unforgettable ways. The resort emphasizes that adventure and conservation go hand in hand, with sustainability at the very heart of everything they do.

Their vision is to blend tourism with conservation, creating a destination where adventure seekers, nature lovers, and families can explore, unwind, and reconnect while knowing their stay supports the land, water, and wildlife around them. Read more about them.
