Their story

Opened in 2016, Rush Creek Lodge is the first lodge to be built in the area in over 25 years. Designed with a commitment to sustainability, the lodge has quickly become a favorite for visitors looking for a more immersive Yosemite experience. Its history is not only marked by its recent inception but also by its dedication to environmental stewardship and community involvement.

Rush Creek is privately owned and operated by Lee Zimmerman and Brian Anderluh who purchased Rush Creek Lodge, Evergreen Lodge, and Firefall Ranch to complement their Youth Program about teaching kids job and life skills.
